The timing of this lecture was perfect, this lecture provided us with an overview of how designs evolve over time. Thus, having been slighlty overwhelmed with the amount of ideas that our group came up with, this lecture proved to be very helpful.
The lectures explained that all designs begin at a single point such as the specifications and that they should diverge speading outwards with many different ideas and thoughts. Having noted thes ideas we should then converge back, condensing our ideas towards one point and hopefully completing our necessary goal of building a shelter fit for the required specifications. He also went on to explain that the design process is an organic process and there is no fixed pattern to designing, only a guideline.
Thus taking from this, our group began to combine our ideas and began to make our shelter more specific.
